Estou - Poema de Fernando Pessoa
Estou
Estou tonto,
Tonto de tanto dormir ou de tanto pensar,
Ou de ambas as coisas.
O que sei é que estou tonto
E não sei bem se me devo levantar da cadeira
Ou como me levantar dela.
Fiquemos nisto: estou tonto.
Afinal
Que vida fiz eu da vida?
Nada.
Tudo interstícios,
Tudo aproximações,
Tudo função do irregular e do absurdo,
Tudo nada.
É por isso que estou tonto ...
Agora
Todas as manhãs me levanto
Tonto ...
Sim, verdadeiramente tonto...
Sem saber em mim e meu nome,
Sem saber onde estou,
Sem saber o que fui,
Sem saber nada.
Mas se isto é assim, é assim.
Deixo-me estar na cadeira,
Estou tonto.
Bem, estou tonto.
Fico sentado
E tonto,

Amália, rainha do Fado e do povo - pop art ribazz
A grande portuguesa, e também chamada de Rainha do Fado, Amália, mais do que uma mulher fadista, um ícone intemporal.
Amália pop art, é mais um dos meus trabalhos caracterizados pela influência de Andy Warhol e a sua técnica de repetição. Uma das mais conhecidas obras suas é o retrato de Marilyn Monroe.
Na tentativa de dar a "Amália" diferentes tonalidades e cores, procurando mostrar as diversas facetas,as tristezas e alegrias da fadista de Lisboa.

Amália da Piedade Rodrigues (July 23, 1920 – October 6, 1999), also known as Amália Rodrigues.
She was known as the "Rainha do Fado" ("Queen of Fado") and was most influential in popularizing the fado worldwide. In fact, she was one of the most important figures in the genre’s development, and enjoyed a 40-year recording and stage career. Rodrigues' performances and choice of repertoire pushed fado’s boundaries and helped redefine it and reconfigure it for her and subsequent generations.

Luís Vaz de Camões (c. 1524–June 10, 1580) is considered Portugal's and the Portuguese language's greatest poet. His mastery of verse has been compared to that of Shakespeare, Homer, Virgil, and Dante. He wrote a considerable amount of lyrical poetry (in Portuguese and in Spanish) and drama but is best remembered for his epic work Os Lusíadas.

Good News -ART LA, New Los Angeles International Contemporary Art Fair
ART LA, the New Los Angeles International Contemporary Art Fair, takes place at the Barker Hangar at the Santa Monica Airport,
January 23 - 25 2009. The fair presents a select roster of 60 top international and Los Angeles based galleries representing an informed cross-section of today's contemporary art trends and directions.
The exhibiting galleries at ART LA are an even balance of established blue chip and emerging galleries, all presenting the most progressive, international art work being produced today. Half of the exhibitors hail from the immediate Los Angeles area, and half are from the United States and abroad.
The fair is designed to spotlight the Los Angeles art scene and its prominence within current international artistic trends. The fair brings influential international galleries and their artists work for the interested art patron and collector alike to enjoy. The finest examples of contemporary art work will be available for view and sale.
The weekend of ART LA 2009 has been expanded to include a full auxiliary programming series. Special exhibitions, performances, conversations and premiere film screenings will be staged at the Barker Hangar and throughout the city during the run of the fair.
