Tudo tem um princípio... "Princípio significa começo ou causa de algum fenômeno. Princípio também pode ser definido como a causa primária, o momento, o local ou trecho em que algo, uma ação ou um conhecimento, tem origem. O princípio de algo pode ser questionado. Sobre o princípio do Universo debatem os cosmólogos e os teólogos se foi o Big Bang ou Deus."

Amália, rainha do Fado e do povo - pop art ribazz

A grande portuguesa, e também chamada de Rainha do Fado, Amália, mais do que uma mulher fadista, um ícone intemporal.

Amália pop art, é mais um dos meus trabalhos caracterizados pela influência de Andy Warhol e a sua técnica de repetição. Uma das mais conhecidas obras suas é o retrato de Marilyn Monroe.

Na tentativa de dar a "Amália" diferentes tonalidades e cores, procurando mostrar as diversas facetas,as tristezas e alegrias da fadista de Lisboa.

A great portuguese, also called the Queen of Fado, Amália Rodrigues, more than just one singer, a timeless icon.

Amalia pop art, is another of my works characterized by the influence of Andy Warhol and his repetition technique. One of his best known works is the portrait of Marilyn Monroe.

In an attempt to give the "Amalia" different shades and colors, trying to show her different faces, sorrows and joys of Amália.

Amália da Piedade Rodrigues (July 23, 1920 – October 6, 1999), also known as Amália Rodrigues.

She was known as the "Rainha do Fado" ("Queen of Fado") and was most influential in popularizing the fado worldwide. In fact, she was one of the most important figures in the genre’s development, and enjoyed a 40-year recording and stage career. Rodrigues' performances and choice of repertoire pushed fado’s boundaries and helped redefine it and reconfigure it for her and subsequent generations.

Cores diferentes influenciam as emoções e sentimentos,

o rosto do poeta Luis Vaz de Camões assume várias interpretações.

Seguindo um dos principios de Andy Warhol, a repetição, em imagens iguais vimos sempre algo diferente em cada "Camões".

the face of the poet Luis Vaz de Camoes takes many interpretations.
Following one of the principles of Andy Warhol, repetition. In the same picture we see something different in each "Camões".

Luís Vaz de Camões (c. 1524–June 10, 1580) is considered Portugal's and the Portuguese language's greatest poet. His mastery of verse has been compared to that of Shakespeare, Homer, Virgil, and Dante. He wrote a considerable amount of lyrical poetry (in Portuguese and in Spanish) and drama but is best remembered for his epic work Os Lusíadas.

"These hearts were painted by my girlfriend and I in Coimbra, Portugal a couple of years back. She is from Coimbra and I am from Chicago and we've been able to maintain a long distance relationship for the past 2.5 years. Since then, we continue to paint some of these hearts every time we are together in Coimbra. What is interesting about Portugal's Calçada (sidewalk), is that you can take a combination of a minimum of three stones and find the shape of an abstract heart form. The heart can grow by adding more stones to the original three."
